It’s 7:00am on July 4th 2011 and MaLoKai - a young, dumb Pop-Punk band - walk in to St Catherine’s academy, a secondary school in Bolton, near Manchester. It’s their first official school week whilst working alongside The Message Trust, so they’re pretty nervous. The guys begin to set up all their equipment in the main hall, do a quick sound check and begin to pray.

ABOUT AWAKEN (READ MORE)
Awaken launched from the ministry of Catalyst, a united gathering of
local youth ministries in the southside of Glasgow, in 2010.
The group consists of 8 people, including two drum kits, cello, violin
and guitars. Less of a band, they are a team of musicians who wish to
worship God and lead others into an encounter with Him.
